VISTA is a Toronto-based Occupational Therapist-owned-and-operated organization committed to best practices, evidenced-based principles and "conscious competency" in all we do. Our customers include insurers, multiple levels of governments / Crown ministries, the WSIB, and legal representatives.
Remuneration may be on a consultative or salaried basis, depending on the desires and needs of the therapist. Rates are at the top of the industry, commensurate with experience and training.
- Occupational Therapy In-Home Assessments addressing a variety of issues (i.e. accessibility for soldiers in their home environment following disability; benefits assessment, etc.)
- Physical and Cognitive Demands Analyses.
- Long-term Disability Case Management.
- Evidenced-based Functional Capacity Evaluations with the Matheson Method (training provided).
- Catastrophic Case and Complex Injury Case Management.
- Cost of Future Care Analyses.
- Ergonomic Assessments.
- Wheelchair and Mobility Assessments.
- Return-to-Work and Lifestyle Modification Programs.
- Assisting with keeping up on research and applying research to evidenced-based practice.
